12U Elementary Team

Games :: Tuesdays & Fridays (Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Hastings, Byron Center, Sparta)

Tournaments :: 1-2 Tournaments

This is for girls 12 years of age and under, though we will consider any beginners under 10 to participate in practices that will be held twice a week Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm. We will have a few home and away games and 2 tournaments. If your child is just looking to learn basics and not play games they can attend practices as "practice players" and the cost will be $150. This level will start with the basics, teaching the players about the rules, how to pass, set, hit, serve, and play the game. This stage is really about developing a love for the game and having fun while learning to play for the Glory of God. We will pair you up with other players and 12U girls will get older team mentors.

This is for girls going in to the 14 years old and under, there will be evaluations for this level. Practices will be held three times a week 4:30-6:30pm. We will have several home and away games and 2-3 planned tournaments. This level will be for more advanced younger players and beginner older players. We will start with the basics, teaching the players about the rules, how to pass, set, hit, serve, and play the game just so everyone is on the same page from the start. This stage is really about continuing to develop players while pursing a love for the game and honoring God in a slightly more competitive setting. We will pair you up with other players and 14U girls will both get a mentors and be a mentor to younger a player.

This is for girls 16 years of age and under, though if you are younger than 9th grade and would like to attend tryouts please contact us. At this level we will work on all positions, but coaches will start to hone in on each players ability and knack for certain skills. To be a well rounded volleyball player, you should know how to play each position so be open to learning a lot this season. Team evaluations will be held July 23 and high school team camp will follow. (more info coming). We will pair you up with other players and JV girls will both get a mentor and be a mentor to younger players.

This is for girls 18 years old and younger, not having yet graduated from high school. While we'll consider all high school ages at this level, we strive to have a mentally, physically and spiritually mature group of athletes for our varsity team. At this level, skills should all be well known and practiced and players should be ready to work hard to perfect them before and during the season. Our varsity players will be our leaders and are expected to mentor our younger levels, both in skill, knowledge, and Christian character. Practices will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm. Team evaluations will be held July 23 and high school team camp will follow. (more info coming).
